Any bands similar to Panic! At the Disco's first album?

I've seen this question posed a few times, well, without the narrowed point, but have been unable to find any decent answers. Please refrain from responding if your answers involve, "MCR, Fall Out Boy, etc." I'm not looking for emo bands. The sound of Panic!'s first album was very baroque rock with ironic/sarcastic lyrics. A similar group (as far as lyrics go) would be Voltaire. However, they have a slightly different sound. I'm all for indie or not-so-well known bands as well. Please no emo bands though.
