Hon, in the animal kingdom, animals eat other animals and kill other animals. In the human kingdom, humans kill other animals for all kinds of things, including leathers. If you have leather shoes, purse or belt, a cow died so you could have that. If you wear wool, a sheep was shorn to make the sweater or skirt - they don't die during that process thankfully. And if you've eaten a hamburger lately, or fish, or chicken, or turkey, an animal died. There are those who do not support animals being killed for what they can provide, but for most of us, we use the animals for eating and for many of the products we wear. That's the way it is. Have a look at your feet, and if you are wearing leather shoes, you might want to put your soapbox away for now.
